Langley Council approved a new bylaw on Monday July 8th that aims to protect trees in the community of Langley.
The new regulations mean property owners who want to remove a tree from their property must apply for a permit from the City. The fee for each tree cut down is $100 however there are a few exceptions such as farmland and new construction.
Applications for tree removal must be made to the Township, see below for more information.
