Cloverdale is the historic heart of Surrey, sitting on the Langley border along 176 Street and Highway 10. Its old town centre is known for brick storefronts and local shops, and the Cloverdale Rodeo and Country Fair is held at the fairgrounds every May long weekend.
Just to the north, Clayton Heights is one of the newer parts of Surrey, with townhomes, row homes and family houses, many with coach homes or legal suites. Older Cloverdale offers larger lots and character homes, and the area toward the Langley border still has acreage and farmland.
Highway 10, Highway 15 and Fraser Highway connect Cloverdale to Langley, the US border and the rest of Surrey. The Surrey to Langley SkyTrain extension will run along Fraser Highway through Clayton, expected in late 2029. Kwantlen Polytechnic University's Cloverdale campus and the Museum of Surrey are both close by.
