Langley sits in the heart of the Fraser Valley, about 45 kilometres southeast of Vancouver. It is two municipalities side by side: the Township of Langley, which covers most of the area, and the smaller City of Langley at its centre. Together they offer everything from new condos and townhomes to family neighbourhoods, horse acreages and working farmland.
Buyers come to Langley for more space than they can find closer to Vancouver. Willoughby and Walnut Grove have newer homes near schools and shopping. Fort Langley and Murrayville have village character. Brookswood and Campbell Valley have large treed lots, while Aldergrove, Salmon River, Otter District and Glen Valley offer acreage and rural living.
Getting around is straightforward. Highway 1 crosses north Langley, the Golden Ears Bridge links to Maple Ridge and Pitt Meadows, and Carvolth Exchange has express buses to SkyTrain. The Surrey to Langley SkyTrain extension will end at Langley City Centre (203 Street), expected in late 2029.
